Cheer up!

What a great meeting today! Stress and depression are not easy topics, but important ones to discuss and learn more about. One of the questions from discussion group today was:

"A cheerful heart is good medicine. What in your life gives you a cheerful heart?"

Leave a comment to this post with your response to this question. Reading what makes other moms cheerful may bring a smile to your face, too!

  1. The funny, cute things my children do gives me a cheerful heart. When I hear Harrison singing worship songs or as I watch Hayden do new things, make new sounds, etc... my heart is full! When I can do something special for someone, my heart is cheerful. I also get super-duper cheerful when I come home to a clean house and supper ready...by my hubby :)

  2. Spending quality time with my family gives me a cheerful heart! Those evenings when there is "nothing to do" are the best. We can all relax, have fun and enjoy each other!
Coming to MOPS also gives me a cheerful heart! I love my MOPS Sisters and getting to spend time with them is so uplifiting. Watching everyone throughout the meeting mingling, talking and laughing is so fun for me. Hearing the women say they enjoyed or got something out of the program part of the meeting is especially gratifying, as Stacy and I worked very hard on selecting relevant topics/speakers. But the times where we play "Mom in the Middle" and the scavenger hunt are my favorite! I love the sound of everyone laughing and having so much fun...even if we are short of breath!! :-)
